Welcoming Message

Zion welcomes you to our website! Thank you for dropping by. We hope you will catch the flavor of this community of faith. For more than 100 years we have held that we are people just like you - seeking a meaningful life with an unshakable center in Jesus Christ.

It is our calling from God in Christ that gives us our identity. It is God’s spirit that moves us to invite others through worship, education, and mission to develop healthy families and communities.

You are important to God and to us. We would be honored if you would choose to worship with us. Zion is a Christian community where people worship, care, and act. Come and visit us.

Grace and Peace,
Pastor Sue Eidahl

Mission Statement
Our mission is to tell the story, deepen our knowledge of the Gospel and provide the means of Grace to all ages through worship and learning experiences. We will do this by developing the gifts of people and equipping them to lead so that the world will know Jesus.

Palm Sunday
Family Event

Palm Sunday is one of the most important days in the Christian calendar after Christmas and Easter. Palm Sunday is the Sunday before Easter, and marks the beginning of Holy Week, the week of events leading up to Jesus' death.

Worship will include a reading of the Triumphant entry and the passion of Christ.

At 9:00 a.m. we will gather for a family event including a live donkey to carry Jesus and palm branches to wave. We will also be braiding Easter bread, coloring eggs and other family activities to celebrate the season.

Join us in the Family Center following 8 o’clock worship!

First Communion
Sunday, April 6th at 10:15 a.m.
Youth completing First Communion instruction will receive communion for the first time at worship on April 6th, 10:15 a.m. service. Extended family, Baptismal Sponsor and all other Faith Mentors are invited to share in this special day.
